Staark uses cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, core platform functionality, checkout, preferences, and saved app state.

The current app audit found essential authentication, security, payment, preference, and app-state storage. It did not find advertising pixels or non-essential analytics scripts.

Staark Educational Solutions uses cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the platform.

This Cookie Policy explains how these technologies support login, account access, checkout, user preferences, saved workspace state, and core platform functionality.

2. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small files or identifiers that websites and applications use to remember information, maintain sessions, support security, and provide functionality.

Similar technologies can include browser local storage and session storage, which may store settings or temporary app state on your device.

3. How Staark Uses Cookies

Essential cookies: Staark uses authentication-related cookies to support Google sign-in, session handling, account access, sign-out, and core platform functionality.

Security cookies: Authentication and session cookies help protect accounts, maintain sign-in flows, and reduce misuse.

Payment-related cookies or redirects: Stripe may use cookies or identifiers during checkout, billing, subscription management, and customer portal sessions.

Preference and app-state storage: Staark uses local storage or session storage for language and accessibility preferences, tutorial state, intake or workspace drafts, advisor workspace state, and account deletion confirmation messaging.

4. Cookies We Do Not Use

Based on the current code audit, Staark does not use cookies or pixels for targeted advertising.

Staark does not sell personal information.

Staark does not use cookie data to train public AI models.

5. Third-Party Services

Authentication providers, including Google sign-in through Auth.js, help users create and access accounts.

Stripe supports checkout, billing, invoices, payment method management, subscriptions, and customer portal access.

Supabase supports account-linked data storage and platform records. The current app configuration does not use Supabase Auth session persistence in the browser.

Vercel hosts and serves the application. The current code audit did not find Vercel Analytics or Speed Insights installed.

AI service providers may process server-side requests to generate recommendations and daily plans. The current code audit did not find browser tracking cookies from the AI provider.

6. User Choices

You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings.

Disabling essential cookies or browser storage may prevent login, checkout, account access, saved preferences, or core Staark features from working correctly.

7. Changes to This Cookie Policy

Staark may update this Cookie Policy as the platform changes.

When we make updates, we may revise the effective date on this page.
