Effective Date: June 9, 2026
Staark is designed to support parents and caregivers. AI recommendations are guidance only, and parents remain responsible for decisions involving their child.
1. Overview
These Terms of Service describe the rules for using Staark Educational Solutions and the Staark AI platform.
Staark provides educational support tools for parents and caregivers. The platform helps parents organize concerns, generate daily plans, track progress, and receive guidance related to a child’s academic and behavioral needs.
By accessing or using Staark, you agree to use the service responsibly and in accordance with these Terms.
2. Eligibility
Users must be 18 years or older to create an account or use Staark.
The account holder must be a parent, caregiver, or authorized adult who is responsible for the information entered into the platform.
Children do not create Staark accounts directly.
3. Educational Support Services
Staark is designed to provide educational support tools for parents and caregivers.
The service may generate action plans, daily steps, progress prompts, reflections, and support guidance based on information provided by the user.
Staark is intended to help parents feel more organized and supported, but it does not replace direct communication with schools, educators, qualified professionals, or other appropriate support providers.
4. Use of Artificial Intelligence
Staark uses artificial intelligence to generate recommendations, daily action plans, and support responses.
AI recommendations are guidance only. Parents and caregivers remain responsible for evaluating the guidance and making decisions for their child.
AI-generated content may not always be complete, accurate, or appropriate for every situation. Users should review all recommendations carefully before acting on them.
5. No Professional Advice
Staark does not provide medical, legal, psychological, therapeutic, diagnostic, or special education determinations.
Staark does not make placement, discipline, eligibility, clinical, legal, or mental health decisions.
If you need professional advice or urgent support, you should contact an appropriate qualified professional, school representative, emergency service, or other responsible provider.
6. No Guarantees of Outcomes
Staark does not guarantee academic, behavioral, emotional, school, or family outcomes.
Progress depends on many factors outside Staark’s control, including the child’s needs, family context, school environment, available resources, implementation consistency, and professional support.
Staark is designed to support clarity, structure, and follow-through, not to promise a specific result.
7. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for providing accurate information and only entering child or family information they are authorized to share.
Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated guidance, deciding whether it is appropriate, and choosing how to act on it.
Users should avoid entering emergency, medical, legal, crisis, or unnecessary highly sensitive information into Staark.
Users may not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security, upload unlawful content, or use Staark in a way that harms others.
8. Subscription and Billing
Staark may offer paid subscriptions, free trials, or other billing plans. Subscription details, trial periods, renewal timing, and pricing are shown during checkout.
Payments and billing management are handled through Stripe. Staark does not store full payment card numbers.
Unless canceled according to the subscription terms presented at checkout, paid subscriptions may renew automatically. Users are responsible for managing cancellation, payment methods, and billing details through the billing tools provided, including Stripe billing workflows where available.
Questions about refunds, billing adjustments, or cancellation timing should be directed to Staark support so the request can be reviewed.
9. Account Suspension and Termination
Users may stop using Staark or request account deletion at any time.
Staark may suspend or terminate access if we believe a user has violated these Terms, created security risk, misused the platform, failed to pay applicable fees, or used the service in a way that may harm Staark, other users, or third parties.
Termination does not remove obligations that arose before termination, including payment obligations where applicable.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Staark Educational Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
Staark is not responsible for decisions made by users, schools, professionals, or third parties based on platform content.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Changes to Terms
Staark may update these Terms from time to time.
When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the platform, by email, or by updating the effective date on this page.
Continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
