Staark is designed to support parents and caregivers. It is not a replacement for professional educational, medical, legal, or mental health advice.

Staark Educational Solutions provides an AI-powered platform for parents and caregivers. The platform generates daily plans to support a child’s academic and behavioral progress.

Staark is committed to protecting user privacy and complying with applicable privacy laws.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect parent or caregiver account information, such as name, email address, authentication details, account status, and support preferences.

We may collect child profile information entered by the parent or caregiver, such as name, age, grade level, academic concerns, behavioral concerns, goals, and context needed to generate support plans.

We may collect platform usage information, such as pages visited, plan progress, completed actions, reflections, support messages, voice or transcription inputs where voice features are used, device information, log data, and security events.

Payment information is handled through Stripe. Staark does not store full payment card numbers. Stripe may provide us with subscription status, customer identifiers, invoice status, and billing-related metadata needed to operate the service.

We may collect support communications when users contact us, submit feedback, report issues, or use support/chat features.

Parents and caregivers should avoid entering unnecessary highly sensitive information, emergency details, medical advice requests, legal advice requests, or crisis information into Staark.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to create personalized plans, daily action steps, progress tracking, and support experiences for parents and caregivers.

We also use information to improve the product, provide support, process payments, manage subscriptions, maintain security, prevent misuse, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with users about their account or service updates.

4. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Staark uses AI to generate personalized recommendations and daily action plans based on information provided by the parent or caregiver.

AI output is guidance only. Parents and caregivers remain responsible for decisions involving their child.

Staark does not make placement, discipline, special education, medical, legal, or mental health decisions.

5. Children’s Information

The parent or caregiver is the account holder. Children do not create accounts directly.

Parents and caregivers should only enter information they are authorized to share.

Staark is designed to collect only the information needed to generate support plans and provide the service.

6. Data Sharing

Staark uses service providers to help operate, secure, maintain, and improve the platform.

Staark does not sell personal information.

Data may be shared with service providers necessary to operate the platform, such as hosting, authentication, payment processing, customer support, security, AI, voice, transcription, and media-related providers where those features are used.

These providers should receive only information needed for their role in providing the service.

7. AI Training

Staark does not use parent or child personal information to train public AI models.

8. Data Security

Staark uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect user information.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Users may request account deletion or data deletion by contacting support.

Staark retains data only as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and operate the platform.

10. User Choices

Users may update account information, stop using the service, request deletion, and contact Staark with privacy questions.

Users may also manage billing through Stripe where subscription management is available.
